Havas Media Group bolsters global data expertise with key leadership updates
Havas Media Group (HMG) has announced the hiring of George Papandreopoulos as Global Managing Director of Measurement, and the appointment of Jamie Seltzer as Global Managing Director of Media Experience (Mx) Analytics.
Both George and Jamie will report into Dan Hagen, Executive Vice President, Global Head of Mx, and will strengthen global data and technology leadership as HMG delivers against growth and transformation ambitions of the agency network’s diversified services.
George Papandreopoulos joins HMG in the position of Global Managing Director of Measurement, where he will lead delivery of data and technology projects, leveraging HMG’s global capabilities and the expertise of local teams throughout the world.
George brings nearly two decades of progressive experience leading media and marketing analytics teams supporting global Fortune 500 brands to his leadership role with Global Mx team, most recently having established and led Edelman’s global innovation and acceleration hub in Madrid. George began his new position with HMG in January of 2023 and is based in Madrid.
In his new role, George will be supported by Daniel Hayes and Leo Frattesi, who take on new leadership responsibilities to aid George in augmenting HMG’s capabilities and driving operational excellence around technology and data science respectively.
Daniel joined HMG in January of 2022 as Global Data and Measurement Lead, where he drove cross-market data and measurement strategy for HMG’s global clients. In his expanded remit, Daniel will support George by leading the evolution of HMG’s cross border delivery capabilities and the development and cohesion of tech expertise within the HMG network.
Leo joined HMG in March of 2019, and over the past 15 months has worked to establish HMG’s leading data science delivery Center of Excellence in LATAM. In his new leadership capacity, Leo will work with George to bolster HMG’s measurement suite and deliver data science capabilities at scale with the power of machine learning and smart modeling.
Further strengthening the expertise within the Global Mx team, Jamie Seltzer is appointed Global Managing Director of HMG’s newly established Mx Analytics practice, where she will lead the integration and continued refinement of data, technology, and analytics within the Mx Process. She will ensure that data and technology continue to be at the heart of HMG’s planning methodology, resulting in better Media Experiences that are proven to deliver business value for clients.
Jamie’s tenure with HMG spans over seven years in US and Global leadership roles, most recently having driven data & technology strategy and transformation as Global Managing Director of MarTech & Data Strategy. Prior to joining HMG, Jamie’s experience includes positions at Avenue A| Razorfish, WPP’s Data Alliance, and Red Fuse Communications where she led Data Strategy globally for Colgate-Palmolive.
