Hearst UK, the premium content and experience business, has announced the return of the Bazaar At Work Summit, hosted by Harper’s Bazaar in partnership with Carolina Herrera and Porsche.

Held on Monday 21 November 2022 at the Kimpton Fitzroy London hotel in Bloomsbury, the day-long conference will bring together inspiring female leaders and professional women from all walks of life for a series of empowering talks, thought-provoking panel discussions, interactive workshops and unmissable networking opportunities.

Themed around ‘Lessons in leadership’, the event will offer masterclasses in how to thrive at the top of any business, focusing on skills such as creativity, resilience, ambition and public speaking.

Building on the success of the past five annual events, this year’s line-up will include the following highlights:

Lesley Manville, the award-winning actress, will discuss her life on stage and screen with Bazaar’s editor-in-chief Lydia Slater, reflecting on the skills and values that have given her both personal fulfilment and professional longevity.

Dina Asher-Smith, Britain’s fastest woman and a three-time winner at the European Championships, will reflect on how she finds the motivation to keep raising her game.

The former Scottish Conservative Party Leader Baroness Davidson, the disaster-response expert Lucy Easthope and the CEO of Curzon PR Farzana Baduel will share ideas on how to cultivate resilience in times of crisis.

Kate Walker Miles of RADA Business will host an interactive masterclass in how to maximise your personal impact in the workplace.

The CEO of Enterprise Alumni Emma Sinclair and the Little Moons founder Vivien Wong will be in conversation with Sweet Capital’s Pippa Lamb about how to pitch a business case with conviction.

The space scientist Maggie Aderin-Pocock, the geophysicist Claire Craig and the architect Tamsin Hanke will exchange thoughts on how women leaders can develop bold visions, inspire future generations and implement radical ideas for change.

Lydia Slater, the editor-in-chief, Harper’s Bazaar: ‘Harper’s Bazaar has a long-standing history of celebrating the empowerment of women. In partnership with Carolina Herrera and Porsche, we are proud to be building on that legacy with the sixth Bazaar At Work Summit, which will empower our audience of visionary women to become even stronger and more confident leaders in their field.’

Celine Gilg, Managing Director, Puig UK & Ireland and flagship brand, Carolina Herrera beauty: ‘As a female leader in the beauty industry, I see time and time again how ‘women can lift other women up’. Whether it is guiding or encouraging younger women on the career ladder, or giving peer-to-peer support through collaboration and success-sharing – when we work together, we work much better. Mentoring and nurturing talent is part of our DNA at Carolina Herrera. This philosophy of empowering women is perfectly reflected in the Bazaar At Work Summit content, themes and learnings. It’s an exciting event, that I am delighted to be part of, which focuses on celebrating and supporting women to perform at their very best!’

Last year’s sell-out event featured speakers including the BAFTA and Golden Globe-nominated actress Daisy Edgar-Jones, the supermodel, author and singer-songwriter Karen Elson, and the co-founder of Dermalogica and Wurwand Foundation Jane Wurwand.
