Publicis Groupe appoints Anna Chitty as CEO of Starcom China

Publicis Groupe has announced the appointment of Anna Chitty as Chief Executive Officer of Starcom China.

Anna will take responsibility for management and operations of Starcom in China, creating innovative client communication strategies that will drive their business growth. Anna Chitty will take up her new role in March.

Anna Chitty has over 27 years’ experience in the communications industry in key markets including China, USA, Australia and New Zealand, spending the most recent 14 years of her career in China. Before joining Starcom, she led PHD China as CEO.

Her previous experience included key management positions across Omnicom Media Group in China and USA, working with clients such as Unilever, Volkswagen, Huawei, TikTok International, HSBC and HP.

Anna is a well-known female leader in the industry, and has been awarded with multiple Agency of the Year honours, along with recognition as Campaign Magazine’s Planner of the Year, Women to Watch and Campaign Asia’s Women Leading Change Awards.
