Liana Technologies acquires majority of Swedish marketing technology provider Ungapped
In a transaction made on October 29th, 2021, Liana Technologies, part of the Ilkka-Yhtymä Group, became the majority stakeholder of the Swedish marketing technology company Ungapped. The acquisition implements Liana Technologies' strategy to grow into the largest provider of cloud-based marketing and communications services in the Nordics.
Founded in 2006, Ungapped is a tech company with a long history and strong know-how in email marketing, SMS, event management, and surveys. Ungapped’s knowledge especially in communications for member organizations and the public sector will strengthen Liana’s stance as the most reliable choice for email marketing and communications in Sweden. Ungapped has a solid customer base in Sweden and will seamlessly complement Liana’s offering and operations.
